The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) wishes to inform all accredited institutions that, effective Tuesday, 1st July 2025, the Commission will no longer accept paper-based applications for programme accreditation.

All applications for programme accreditation are now required to be submitted exclusively through the Accreditation Management Information System (AMIS) via amis.gtec.edu.gh. This transition is part of GTEC’s commitment to streamlining operations, enhancing efficiency, and improving service delivery within the tertiary education sector.

Institutions are therefore advised to ensure that their designated officers are fully registered on AMIS and are familiar with the system’s procedures for submitting programme accreditation requests.
