The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), as part of its stakeholder engagement and capacity-building initiatives, invites all stakeholders and the general public to its Summer School and Meritorious Awards 2026, under the theme: “Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Leveraging Technology to Safeguard Education Quality Amid Rising Student Enrollment.”
The Summer School aims to provide a platform for stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue on key operational and policy issues shaping higher education in Ghana. This year’s event will offer senior managers of tertiary education institutions and other stakeholders the opportunity to deliberate extensively on critical issues relating to quality assurance within the country’s tertiary education sector.
The programme is scheduled as follows:
Date: 9th – 10th July 2026
Venue: Great Hall, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
Time: 9.00 am each day
Participation Fee: GHȻ 2,500.00 per participant
All accredited tertiary education institutions, prospective institutions and institutions undergoing accreditation processes are encouraged to participate.
