The Acting Director-General of GTEC, Professor Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai together with some Management Staff received a delegation from the National Defence College on Monday October 16, 2023. The delegation was led by Major General Irvine Nii-Ayitey Aryeetey, the Commandant of the College. He was accompanied by Brigadier General Paul Tanye-Kulono (Chief Coordinator), LT-Col D.K Hooper (General Staff Officer), Prof. Aho Kpari (Dean), Dr. N. Kurantin (Vice Dean) and Mr. Asare Bediako (Registrar).

Major General Ayeetey said the purpose of the visit was to familiarise themselves with the process of Institutional and Programme Accreditation to enable them smoothly run the National Defence College in accordance with directives from GTEC.

Professor Abdulai said he was pleased to receive such a high-powered delegation and is committed to ensure that the National Defence College is taken through the appropriate process to be awarded a Charter. Present were Mr. Saaka Sayuti, the Director for Administration, Mrs. Hilda A. Asante (Esq)  Director for Corporate Affairs, Mr. Emmanuel Duku, Head of Private Universities, and Mr. Harry Opoku, Officer in charge of Institutional Visits at the Commission.
