Professor Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai has been appointed as the Acting Director-General of GTEC with effect from October 2, 2023. He takes over from Prof. Mohammed Salifu who was Director-General from 2020 to September 2023.

On Thursday, October 12, 2023, Professor Kwame Boafo-Arthur, Chairman of the Board of GTEC, presented the Official Handing-Over Notes of the former Director-General to Professor Jinapor Abdulai.

Prof. Abdulai in his acceptance speech said he was humbled by his new appointment and will discharge his duties with diligence to contribute to the higher education space in the country. The short Handing-Over Ceremony was witnessed by some Management Staff of GTEC.
