The Director-General of the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), Prof. Ahmed Jinapor, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, received the newly appointed Principal of St. Francis College of Education, Hohoe, Prof. Mawuloe Koffi Kodah, at the Commission.
Prof. Kodah was formally introduced to the Director-General by the Chairman of the Governing Council of the College, Prof. Victor Atsu Barku, as he assumes leadership of one of Ghana’s oldest Colleges of Education.

Also present at the meeting were the National President of the Old Franciscans Association (OFA), Mr. Larry K. Agbador, and Mrs. Anita Nanfuri, the Director of Human Resource and Administration at GTEC.
Prof. Jinapor congratulated Prof. Kodah on his appointment and assured him of the Commission’s support as he begins his tenure. He encouraged the new Principal to provide strong and inclusive leadership and to work within the relevant statutory and governance frameworks of the College and the tertiary education sector.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for discussions on a number of issues relating to the administration and development of the College, including institutional governance, management, admissions and other areas requiring the attention and support of the Commission.
Prof. Kodah expressed appreciation to the Director-General for the warm reception and assurance of support, and reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with GTEC, the Governing Council and other stakeholders to advance the development of St. Francis College of Education and strengthen its contribution to teacher education in Ghana.
