The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) was established under the Education Regulatory Bodies ACT, 2020 Act 1023 in August 2020 and has a mandate of regulating and supervising all tertiary education institutions in Ghana.
JOB TITLE: DRIVER/DISPATCH
DEPARTMENT: TRANSPORT
JOB PURPOSE: To provide operational support for the efficient and
effective performance of the transport management functions of the Commission.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conveys assigned officials, goods, and equipment to and from designated destinations
2. Ensures availability of log books in all official vehicles
3. Ensures the recording of relevant information in vehicle logbooks
4. Ensures the maintenance of pre and post trip assessment records
5. Facilitates the investigation of incidence involving official vehicles
6. Supervise the periodic examination of vehicles and submit reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
DIRECT ENTRY
· A minimum of a WASSCE qualification
· A professional level qualification or industry skill-based certification in auto-mechanics
· A valid driver license. At least class ‘C’
· A minimum of two (2) years post license relevant work experience
· Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Commission in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.
